The West End Theatre - New York, NY
January 24-26, 2020
In 1986, to awaken America to the AIDS crisis and to honor the friends he lost, Brent Nicholson Earle ran the perimeter of the United States. In 2020, performers from the worlds of theater, opera and dance embody episodes of his life on stage. Inspired by Brent's activism and friendship, Executive Producers Barbara Martinez and David Charner and Hup! Productions present For the Love of Friends at the West End Theatre in New York in January 2020.
This fall I will be spending nearly three months in Hawaii! I am working at Hawaii Opera Theatre as principal coach and cover conductor for Puccini's Tosca. I will also be playing several concerts, the Opera Ball and coaching the young artists as well as members of the Orvis Opera Studio. I am very excited to make my debut with this company, to work with the Hawaii Symphony and to spend an extended period in one the most beautiful places on earth!
I am thrilled to be joining the Music Staff of The Santa Fe Opera this summer. I will be preparing Giacomo Puccini's La bohème and the world premiere of Poul Ruders' The Thirteenth Child, based on the Brothers Grimm fairytale, "The Twelve Brothers." I will also be playing in the orchestra for the Ruders opera as well as accompanying the apprentice scenes programs from the piano.
